Saka Wind Power Plant, Latvia

As a joint owner META Engineering AG takes participation in a 385 MW Saka wind power plant project in Latvia.

This project started in 2022 carrying out not only environmental impact survey, but also studies of various animal habitats, as well as road planning and Energy Yield preliminary calculations. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2025.

Location:
The land areas for the construction of the wind power plant are located in Saka parishes, Latvia. Construction sites for wind power stations are planned in forest areas.

Program No. 5-03/14/2022 of the State Office for Environmental Supervision has been received for the environmental impact assessment for the construction of the Saka wind power plant and the establishment of a power supply connection in the South Kurzeme region.

Technical data:
- 55 wind turbines can be installed
- Total installed capacity 385 MW
- Annual energy Yield approx. 1 310 000 MWh
